With 2019-2020 marking CIROS’ first year as an official student organisation, our board and committees have worked hard to build our IRO Community with a month of events, dedicated to bringing together students—both new and old.
September is IROC Month!
Organised by our First Years Committee, in collaboration with SPIL and the Institute, here are a few key events:
🤝 A first year student? Make new friends at our Speedfriending evenings at Wijnhaven with your workgroup and COs (2-4 September)!
🍺 Join us at Libertijn for the CIROS Welcome Back Borrel (5 September, 8 PM)!
🗣️ Come listen to your fellow students as they share their Stories that Stick (17 September, 7 PM). #STS is a CIROS tradition, where students share their passion, expertise, and opinions without filters or constraints.
💬 Interested in joining a CIROS committee or having your say on our community? Join us for CIROS’s first General Assembly (18 September) of the academic year!

🎌 Already missing the taste of home? The Embassy Festival 2019 takes place on Lange Voorhout on 6 and 7 September. A Hague tradition, the festival has the city’s many embassies share their nation’s culture, music and cuisine!
